[ARCHIVED THREAD] - need compatable carry handle

I have a 20" Colt Hbar barrel(made during ban) and a generic flat top upper receiver(believed to be model 1 sales only marks on it are a square). I wanted to buy an A2 carry handle for it but want to make sure the sights will line up properly. Should I just buy a Colt carry handle or would other brands be fine? Thanks.

Other brands should be fine, I would just stay away from the chi-com made ones. Just make sure you're getting one made in America.

If you have an F marked base , get a Mil Spec handle.
