Are these "rubberized" or hard polymer? Also, what locks the panel to the rail?
Thanks and regards... |
| They're black high impact plastic. They lock onto the rail by way of a large U-shaped piece of spring steel. The ends of the metal U snap into the recessed notches found at either end of KAC rail systems. Some other rail manufacturers add the recessed notches to their rail systems as well. Without them the panels will not be secure. |

try Ergo REDI-Cover grip rail covers... they are comfy.... and rubberized. Very similar to KAC w/ out the steel lock. http://www.ergogrips.net/images/redicover.gif if you want the locking one, they also have Ergo RIBLOCK. pretty nice as well, but more like hard rubber, stiff. Thank you so much! These look almost exactly like what I was hoping to find. Know a good place to get them? |

Know a good place to get them? best bet is direct order through Ergo, as most online retailers only have the regular Ergo-Ladder style, or the typical Magpul XT, etc and won't stock these ERGO you are looking for. Try combining the shipping, last time I purchased from Ergo, for some grips and rail panels, they charge 5-6 dollars for all of them. good luck. |
