I've been using one since they first came out, they work as advertised.  I use one in my training weapon, and loan it out to other LEO and MIL on a regular basis.  No one has ever had any issues or trouble with it, and in general its been well received by those who have used it.

Funny, I've been using a Standard BCG for years with thousands of rds and have the same experience...

Actually, no.. with lube... all the money I saved on ION bonding bought me a lifetime supply and an extra bolt....

Stick,

I'm curious.  Do you use the BCG with the supplied hammer, or will it work with standard LPK, like DPMS?

Thanks

No, I don't use their hammer.  I think a lot of people would be more inclined to buy one if they sold it without it and saved the money instead.

hey Stick, they actually do sell it in just pieces, but i read on another forum that it's better to use their hammer.  I've been thinking about getting this but not sure if it's better to get this or an NP3 coated bcg.  i need one b/c my upper currently doesn't have a bcg and thought this would be a good investment since it's a "need" not an "upgrade".

One of my friends was not able to install the Fail Zero in his Colt 6920, but it did work in my RRA. Seems they use different hammer pins....Something to think about I guess.

Having extensive experience with Robar's NP3 on my Glocks and reading the Fail Zero page it sounds like the same thing with a different name.  That being said NP3 rocks and is a fantastic coating.  So if the FZ is as good as the NP3 it would be good to go.

I like mine and have been running it for about 2 months, maybe 500 rounds. I know that is low, but I have been running 4 ar's so they each get some useage..It has not failed yet...it just stinks that i bought at 300 and it went to 250 the next week...but that is life sometimes!!
