Everyone, I need some help here, so if someone can point me in the right direction or leave some comments, that would be super!  What are the "stages" in a trigger?  What is the difference between a single stage and a 2 stage?  What makes a trigger a "National Match" trigger?  What else am I missing here?  Thanks for the help!

With a single stage trigger you squeeze the trigger until the hammer is released to take a shot. You do not know exactly when the trigger will break releasing the hammer for the shot.

With a two stage trigger you have a take up the trigger until a slight resistance is felt which is the second stage. It takes additional pressure to overcome the second stage so you will know precisely when the shot will be let off.
