Just picked up my new rifle and am going to put a quad rail on it. I was looking at the Troy or Midwest in black with FDE covers. Then I thought it might look neat with a FDE rail and black ladders. A google search returns nothing. I would do the rail and ladders right now and once I get some rounds under my belt, decide what stock and foregrip I like, although they would be FDE also.
So, anyone have any pics of a setup like this? Does it look decent? Thanks |

I was going to go with a black rail too but thought the FDE would look cool...and it does!! |

The first pic posted is mine, the rail is from Midwest, tried to order a Troy through my dealer and they never would send it. The sights are troy along with the flash suppresor, everything else is from Magpul all the colors but the silly Vicking light holder all match very well. The flash on the camera seems to wash all FDE colors so it's a tad darker in real life.
I love it, and specifically built it to be FDE. Only need a new FDE surefire 
Also thanks to the guy who posted it and said it looks good, I'm rather proud of it being my first AR. |

this one's mine, and everything was painted with alumahyde II in coyote. i've found that it's a REALLY close match to magpul FDE. |
