Hi, I'm fairly new to this site...
I am planning to build my first complete AR, but decided to get a complete Stealth upper instead. I am thinking about getting the matching Larue lower too, but I haven't found any info on the on this site. If you have a Larue lower, or just have a strong opinion on them please let me know what you think. |

If you have a Larue lower, or just have a strong opinion on them please let me know what you think. A friend recently did the same thing, got a Stealth upper, very nice, accurate, and was going to get a LaRue lower but ended up with a LMT Defender 2000 with Sopmod & 2-stage trigger. He felt it wasn't worth any "premium" just because it had the LaRue name on it. |
| well it's a billet and it looks really sexy, it is $250 and you can get some complete forged lowers for the same price, but i like everything else LaRue makes, i bet the back it up w/ their lifetime warranty, it breaks, they'll replace it, and i don't think anyone can complain about their quality. if you like it, i'd get it, it'll be the same as getting a POF billet lower. |
| I bought it to have a complete LaRue rifle. There is zero movement in the entire rifle. Some of my other ARs have some slop. I know this doesn't affect anything but the LaRue feels like it was cut from one billet. If that is worth something to you you might spend the $. Or you could buy it and sell it for a premium to fund the lower you want to use. |
