Hi all,
I'm seriously considering the vltor basic stock as it's light, provides cheek weld like a sopmod and is $100 cheaper. Any input on this stock below is appreciated. http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/Vltor-Carbine-Modstock-Basic-Kit-p/vltor%20acb-2s%20black.htm |

If you don't already have the buffer tube, you may want to get the kit that includes it. The buffer tube has numbers laser etched on the top that correspond with stock position, that you can view through a small hole in the stock.

I own one and really like it. It definitely provides better cheekweld than a standard M4 stock and the storage compartments are easy to access. My only gripe is that it's a little too loose on the tube, but after several years and a lot of shooting, I can't really bitch. Someone has it for sale on the EE right now for $75, but if you go with Bravo company, they ship quickly and are great to deal with. Enjoy. |
