I am looking at both the DD 12" Lite and the SWS Rifle Length (12.7") rail systems. Any one have any experience with the SWS? I know plenty of people here have DD Lite's. The SWS come standard on the Noveske's but you dont see them much on build projects. Just curious. Thanks!

I have several of the SWS, and they are extremely nice.

If someone was going to give me one, I would pick DD.

I have owned the SWS carbine length rail and really liked it. It was pretty tough to get it indexed perfectly because of the barrel nut design but it may have just been me installing it for the first time. I am now running the DD M4A1 RIS II rail and two of my rifles and love them. I say DD if I could only have one but that is not to take anything away from SWS.

I think a lot of people just don't like the way the SWS rails look. Both SWS and DD are very good quality, pick the one you like.

I've never dealt with DD but I have used SWS and can't say enough good about them.  They have a great product and Art is great to deal with.

I have one on my 308 and I really like it. I think they build the rails for Noveske.

Just a suggestion, but i would wait on the Spike's Tactical rails  comming out in about four weeks  before you make a decision . These could give you another option.
