I am looking to build a light weight gun and was considering the 16" Superlight upper from Bushmaster or the 14.5" M4 upper from LMT & perm attaching an extended A2 FH. Can anyone tell me the weight differences in these two set ups?

I can't tell you the exact weight of the uppers side by side, but I can say that my 16" Superlight with a DD 7.0 Lite rail, an EOTech, a Surefire, a VFG, and BUIS was 6.85lbs unloaded.
I've been issued and have owned 14.5 M4s, they are a little heavier, not a whole lot. |
