I am aware of their chrome plated BCG being easier to clean and wears less, but whats the deal with their titanium nitride BCG? Besides looking kinda cool, whats the real advantage? Hows the reliability of the DPMS BCGs? I'm trying to decide between one of the DPMS BCGs or a Colt BCG.

Other than looking different, there is no advantage.  For the price, I would go with a Young Mfg. chromed BCG, unless you really want the color for the look.

Bling Bling!

I'd go with a chromed BCG over a TiN, personally.  I'm concerned over the TiN coating perhaps being brittle compared to steel...
So far my experience has been that many of the more 'exotic' materials are, in many ways, inferior to the original.  What I know of carbon steel barrels, for example, especially chrome lined ones, leads me to beleive that they are tougher and longer lasting than stainless.

We know that you can beat the hell out of a phosphate carrier, or chrome carrier, they've both gone to war, but TiN hasn't.
