So I got a new "Colt" bolt from a reliable dealer today marked with a lonely "C".  Their advertising said some are MPC and some just C.  Would it be a reasonable assumption that the C is a batch that does not have samples pulled for MP inspection?  Any spec differences?

IIRC, all Colt bolts are MP tested, some are just not marked.

I have a Colt bolt with just a C marking, I got it brand new back in 2005.

Some of the other Colt bolt markings are:

MPC
MP X C (where X are month mfg code)
MPD (Colt Canada formerly Diemaco)
Ground down MPC  with large "C" over it

+1 All Colt bolts are high pressure tested and MP inspected per Mil-spec each and every one.

Thank you for the replies.  I'm just a dumb old jarhead but MPI AFTER an HP test gives me a warm fuzzy.

Providing my M-4 upper actually came with a Colt Bolt, its got a C on the left side of it.

The BCG goes for between $200-$300.  Not sure on just the bolt.

Dennis Todd had Colt BCG's complete for $220.  I don't know if he still has any.
