Went to the local gun show this morning. Found some RRA stripped lowers for $159.99, but then the table behind them, had some DS stripped lowers for $100.00 out the door. Picked one up.

That's a hell of a deal.

I like the DS better than the RRA. The finish is much nicer.

A lower is a lower anyway as long as it's in spec and don't think you will have a problem.

Question is why did you only get one?

He had 3 on the table, but don't know if he had more behind his table. I probably should have at least got 2 for that price. I may end up doing another SBR with this one. Haven't decided yet.

Good find, we had a local shop run the DS lowers for $100 out the door also, it was a members only special advertised on an Indiana Forum. I really like the lowers (I picked up 2 consecative s/n'd) but its hard to get another upper to match the finish.... no big deal, they are great lowers for the low price.

Post some pics of the build.....
