Has anyone used this muzzle brake?

Just a second. I just realized that if I have any brake installed in post ban configuration that I cannot modify any of the barrel furniture or sights since they will no longer slide off the barrel. Good thing I watched some of those Brownell videos before I placed my order.

I think Troy's BUIS are 1 of the best on the market today - however, that muzzle device has got to be the fugliest looking thing for an AR barrel

Doubles as a meat tenderizer or a back drop in the Lord of the Rings.
Should be good for tearing up anything it comes in contact with

Not so pretty but one hell of a CQB impact weapon. You get whacked in the chest with that and it will remind you of the good old days.......
Ya know when dear old dad popped ya in the chest with a handfull of lawn darts!

I'm pretty sure that would rip the hell out of a cloth AR case.

Why would you store your ARs in a cloth case? I put mine in safe.. For range trips I use my slings...

I have a Phantom 5C2 which has a somewhat similar design (pointy!) and my nylon cases are fine.

The Troy unit looks pretty nasty.  I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end.

That's the one I'm putting on my latest build, I'm still waiting for some back orders, Does anyone have a report as to how well the Troy Medieval brake works with mitigating muzzel climb?

I have a DNTC and and PWS .556 both work great but I'm wondering about the Troy, only one internal chamber.
