I am really leaning toward purchasing a 7.0 Omega Rail and I was wondering what tools are needed for the install and does anyone have a link to install instructions?

It's a great system, it's more expensive than most but if you look at what you get it's worth the extra coin.

yeah i just handled one at my local store. They want 254 so they are not over priced and no shipping so i might jump on it this week. might even be able to get a cash discount. surprisingly light.

I put one on mine and it was a snap. I did get the 2 piece model, though.

(I see the instructions posted now. Same as I used.)

It's a piece of cake.  Screwdriver, handguard tool, if you have a carbine or arthritis, it comes with it's own allen wrench.  Literally a 5 min job tops.

To make it even easier, I used an A2 carry handle to line the rail up with the upper receiver before I tightened down the four set screws.

DDs Omega rail is great. Can't beat it for a free float, full length rail that is easy to install. No other brand comes close.

I'm a complete retard when it comes to putting things together and even I was able to install a DD Omega in about 10 minutes.
