I want to pick one of these up in the carbine length.  I'm new to fores with rails.  The stock fore without rails is really light.  The YHM adds quite a bit
of weight...so the question is....

Is the YH a typical weight?   Am I going to notice a big difference with another rail system?  I like the price of 115 bucks.....and the gunsmith will put it on for free.
So I'm thinking this is the way to go for my first one.

I just installed a YHM LW FF rail on my RRA rifle and I can tell a slight difference in the weight. Rails like DD or LaRue are going to alot lighter, but a hell of a lot more expen$ive.

My thought is, if your gonna go with a FF rail that requires you to remove the FSB, get a lo-pro gas block and a rail that is long enough to cover it.
