Has anyone seen the Colt Match Hammer and Trigger Upgrade Kits?
They come shrink Wrapped with the Hammer, Hammer Spring, Trigger, Trigger Spring and the Two Pins in Stainless, and also the Hammer & Trigger Springs are Blue. I am curious to see if these are available, and also how much they costs Thanks, Chief |

I got one about 10+ years ago. Made a noticable difference and at the time I felt it was worth the dollars. Don't remember what it cost back then except it was less than $100.
At that time Brownells was selling the kits but had run out. I couldn't find another source so I ended up talking directly to Colt's LE division rep. That's when I found out that Colt didn't actually package and market the kit, or even manufacture most of their parts. He said that distributors would buy large amounts of parts from Colt and repackage them. Any rate, I ended buying the kit from a police equipment distributor out of Arizona but it's been so long I can't remember the name either. It's a decent trigger but with the resources available these days, I'd personally just send in my stock trigger to Bill Springfield. For $35 the end result will be the same or better. |
