| Is the Switchblock as good as it's advertised to be for suppressor use? My dad may want to put a can on an AR I'm building for him, and I'd definitely like to put one on mine for when I'm in the free world, and from what I'm reading it looks like a really good idea. Anyone here use one? |

I really like my switchblock. There is a noticeable difference in the amount of recoil and gas thrown back at you between having the gas setting on suppressed or on the regular setting. And other people that have them or that have shot mine have noticed the difference as well. the sound difference is marginal though in my Opinion.
Also the ability to turn the gas off is pretty cool and does make it a bit quieter but the hot brass becomes harder to rack I believe because the brass expands when hot. once you've shot for a bit the switchblock wrench will make it much easier to turn the device. Because it does get somewhat hard to turn. Overall it is cool to have and does make a noticeable difference when shooting. Plus there's the added cool guy feature. BTW My gun is a Noveske N4 Light Recce 16 in. switchblock ran it through Magpul dynamics Dynamic Carbine 2 ran great for the two days I used it 1800 rounds some suppressed but mostly unsuppressed |
