[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Flash hider

I have a RRA CAR A4 - is there an easy way to tell if my barrel is threaded? Also, are there advantages to flash hiders in law enforcement use? Or should I keep the A2 flash hider my rifle came with and save the money? Thanks for the help.
