Had one of these installed last week and took it to the range today on my M4 and I must say I was very impressed. Very minimal muzzle rize and I was able to sustain very controlled bursts with great grouping. Although it did make the rifle crazy loud...and because of the how the gas/debri vents out of the compensator my rifle was COVERED in "brass dust" if that makes any sense. Not sure what you call that. Anyways besides that, the thing is sick and I would highly recommend it.

Ha, you should try one on a 16" barreled AR-10 if you want to see what loud really is (or for that matter, try an AR-50).
I would classify the FSC556 and FSC30 as excellent muzzle devices where a brake that still has some flash suppression capability is required. I would NOT use one on an entry team. I must admit, I really love the blast of the AR-10 now - if nothing else it could be demoralizing to anyone on the receiving end.
