I knew nothing about Bill springfield until catching his name on here. I see a lot of people recommend him. But my question is. what exactly does he do? I mean does he simply replace the sring group? Asking because I saw a spring group in gun shop, and it was 12 bucks. Was talking with the guy who owns shop and he said it works great. Yes, I know he is the shop owner and will say whatever to make a sale, but don't think he would risk making a 12 dollar sale, and making me angry so that I never buy from him again. I have bought quite a bit of stuff from him over the last year, and have sent him a lot of business by reputation. I can replace a spring group, so what exactly does he do? |

The only difference I could see was a slight build up on bottom of trigger not smooth like stock setup maybe the springs are different I bought the whole assembly so if I wasn't happy I could put my original back in. So far I am impressed. Yep, still wondering what exactly he does. Like said I can get the spring group for 12 bucks (probably less) and take 5 minutes to swap myself. Just want to know if I am missing something. |

Here you go, http://www.triggerwork.net/
"AR-15, AR-10, all makes, standard small and large pin Colt, stock single stage - 4lbs pull, very short, smooth, clean break. $35, add $5 for "speed hammer" modification. For 3lbs pull price is $50 (new match spring set installed; hammer tail removed ("speed hammer") included in the price for more positive ignition for hard military type primers. I recommend the speed hammer mod to the rounded top type front face hammer, the tail on these are heavy. The nothced versions are lighter. Aftermarket match 2 stage trigger group services. reduce the pull by 1 to 2lbs plus, smooth it out and reduce 1st stage pull up to 50%. $35. The trigger, hammer, disconnecter and their associated springs are all needed! If you aren't sure what to send, please email me or click here. I recommend the 4lbs pull for duty and field rifles, 3lbs works perfectly for long range and target style shooting. Priority Mail return postage is included in all prices! Any questions, or to order, please EMAIL me." [email protected] |

| not sure exactly what he does to it, but I do know that it's more than just replacing some springs. I sent Bill my factory trigger group and he did his thing and sent it back to me. the trigger felt great when I dry-fired it...........can't wait to try it out at the range in a few weeks. |
