[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 6.8 barrel needed

I was wondering if anyone knows who has a 18" SPR barrel in 6.8 saami II mid gas with a 1:11 or 1:12 twist in stock, stainless prefered, but chrome moly will be acceptable. This will primarily be a pig and white tail gun, thanks.

Just found this in the search with no reply. I'm also curious who may have these barrels in the same specs as the OP. But to the OP, I doubt anyone has them in stock most likely. I just want to know of the companies.

Your best bet is to scour the for sale sections of ar15.com and 68forums.com. I just got a WOA 1:11 18" SPR barrel with bolt and gas block.

WOA is 12-16 weeks out, Noveske has no ETA, Cardinal Armory is out of business, DPMS is discontinuing their 6.8 line... I'm going to bet pretty much no one has these barrels in stock right now.

Noveske has changed their 6.8 barrels to what you require. I do not believe they are on the shelves yet though.

What I've gathered from a few email correspondences with Noveske indicates that production on the new 6.8 barrels has not even started yet. They too busy catching on the 5.56 orders.

I think I heard that Charles Daly is working on a 6.8 as well
