[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Best model/make to get

I am thinking of trying to trade my SP-1 with A-3 hvy barrel upper for a new model. I have a preference for Colts, but am vaguely aware there are lots of very good rifles out there.

I'd like to tap into the opinions and knowledge regarding what to get, and maybe some tips as to availability.
