I just recieved my new magpul milspec CTR stock, and i cant beleive how great that thing is. i know everyone has one but it is my first. it locks up nice and tight with absolutly no play. it is up to my nitpicking standards and i just love when things work the way their suposed to.

I was as excited as you when I got mine. I would have never
believed there was such a difference between stock & the CTR.

I wanted a CTR but it doesn't have a place to put any spare parts or batteries.

I thought that was kinda weird.

Not that it is likely to happen to you,,,,
You won't ever want batteries stored in your stock assembly should a bullet hit it.

I have gone so far as to only keep non-toxic M-Pro 7 bore cleaner in the stock recess now.

I should add that we all should give credit where credit is due.

Magpul started out, on the advice of some combat veterans, making a simple product that made a world of difference in getting magazines out of the old LC-1 and Molle pouches and this was some fifteen years ago.

Today they have a product line that has substantially improved the overall concept and ergonomics of the M16 line of combat rifles.

In a world where our major employers, The Auto Industry, can't seem to get anything right, I call what Magpul has achieved in so short a time frame, "Major Innovation."
