Could somebody kindly give me an OD on the shoulder of an A1/Lightweight barrel? is it .625"?
I think I have finally arrived at a barrel length I like (for now  ) for my retro/IDF/thing...
However, I am using a superlight barrel and there is a likely chance the shoulder won't give much purchase for a lock or peel washer. I'm really trying to avoid a weld/pin. (~12.5" SBR barrel) I have seen custom thread-on shoulders for L/Ws, but they are huge and awkward looking. I want to do some research to see if one can be made to match the original dimensions as pictured - or at least anything that will do the same job. Thanks for any help or ideas!
