Does anyone currently make a 20" government profile A2 upper? I've been searching the various manufacturers (Bushmaster, DPMS, RRA etc.) and all I seem to come up with are HBARs.

Bushmaster makes one. They also offer it in a 1/7 twist. But they only make a limited number at at time. You have to ask for it when you call.

Model 1 Sales makes one, it only comes in the 1/7 twist. Some people have had bad luck with M1S, but I have built a bunch of their kits with no problems other than a tight bolt catch that needed to be filed down a little to work.

As stated above, Bushmaster offers this upper in 1/7 & 1/9.

Actually just got a A2 Upper, Complete w/BCG, 1/9 Govt. Profile barrel last week from Bushmaster.

Note: Barrel/Receiver has M4 ramps & exts.

It's not listed on their website, had to call it in. Their part number is BURA2B 20A2.
Price was: $611.00 shipped ($590 + $21.00 shipping & ins.)

Wait time was about 6 weeks.

Keep an eye on the EE and your local gun stores as well. I scored an A2 upper with a Colt 1/7 barrel for $300.
