Stupid NEWBEE question???? How do you tell if a lower unit is forged or milled????? These are DPMS! |
| Forged is just fine. I see no need for billet unless you like the look better or have a billet upper and want it to match. Billet is a little bit stonger but along with that comes more weight and bulk. The lowers on ar's aren't under that much stress so you don't have to worry about one breaking under use. |
