I would like to get a caa collapsible stock or even a magpul ctr, however I don't really want to throw away my money if they end up being banned by the next group of socialist govt. I'm fairly new to the AR scene and I am wondering what happend to collapsible stocks during the clinton gun ban? Did these have to be tossed or not used because they were illegal or they were legal up to a given date when manuf. may have stopped on them? |

Get the CTR... While I highly doubt a new AWB would be anything like the old one, collapsible stocks and other "evil" items could be used on any firearm that was manufactured and in a pre-ban configuration before Sept '94. Since the items themselves were not banned (unlike high capacity magazines) they could still be produced as long as they were not installed on a "post-ban" firearm. |

they were legal if manuf. before the ban...... now with that said..... any possible pending ban may not be the same and may "try" to ban all the "evil" parts regardless but like i said pending, theres a high chance that there won't even be a ban again..... so buy it now and have fun with your rifle |
