Is the Daniel Defense Omega rail the only no mods free-float out there?

Could you give me some other good options?

Knight's RASII retains the delta ring like the DD

If you can muster up dealing with "little-mods", Midwest Industries and Troy rails
don't require FSB removal, but do require delta ring to be cut off. (pretty simple surgery)

There might be a few others, but I can't remember.

The DD Omega is the only zero modification unit that Free Floats off the barrel nut.

The KAC RAS-II, VLTOR CASV EL, ARMS, and there's a couple others - these have floating handguards that are hung off a mounted extension off the upper receiver - usually require different mounts for optics (lower), though most don't obstruct the usage of a normal rear BUIS.

The TROY MRF and MI 2PC FF rails can be mounted by removal of the delta ring, and free float...

Among those options, there's a reason the DD Omega is so popular - then the TROY and MI options are a close second, since they're still more solid than the drop-in 2pc units that don't float.

I absolutely recommend the DD Omega rail.  It is top notch all the way and took just a few minutes to mount up and fits perfect.

+1 the Omega Rail is a really nice piece...very solid...

I also own the RASII and the DD is damn near half the weight of it...

I love my OMEGA rail. Super light weight, and rock solid.
