I'm intrigued by Tactical Innovations' lower. I like the fact that it has an allen head to capture the rear detent spring as well as a built in Accuwedge of sorts. The price is right as well, not too much more than a Mega lower.

Are these quality lowers? Does anyone have one that can chime in?

Thanks in advance!

I just got off the phone with them no more than 40 min ago.
The lowers seem to be nice. The forged and no better or worse than any others. Though the winchester double star has em beat on price.

Their billet lowers look good too.

The one nice benny is that you decide how to designate pistol/rifle when you pick it up/purchase it.

Mil spec is mil spec...My double star runs with the best of rock river.
Just dont expect a good resale value.
Tac ino customer service has always been good for me. I own a Tac 65 and they went the extra mile when i messed it up.

The allen head mod is easy to do.  I've done it on all of my lowers.  I think it was Quib that came up with it.  He did a good write up with step by step instructions that even I could follow.

Anyone have a link to this Quib DIY thread? I've decided to go with a Noveske lower to remove one more vendor and shipping costs from my build and would love to tap that hole for an allen set screw!
