I am thinking about floating my 16" middy.  I am looking for something lightweight, and I might want to use a bipod and/or vertical grip occasionally.  I am partial to tube types rather than quad rails.  The JP/VTAC handguard looks interesting but it would be nice to hear some input from people who have used them...(pics would be nice too!).  Also, could a Clark carbon fiber tube be made to work somehow?  Are there any others I should know about?

Thanks!

I used the RRA tube, and its nice. A bit of a PITA to install though, as its a 1-piece design:

Here's the rifle (I wrapped the tube with paracord to keep it cool):

That looks pretty cool.  How is it weight-wise?

I didn't weigh it, but the whole gun is pretty light (the barrel is a gov profile). Its an aluminum tube, so its not going to be heavy.
