[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PRI Latch

I have the PRI latch and it has a hard time engaging the slot on the receiver. Most of the time I have to tap it to get it to latch. Any ideas as to why? I think the spring is not strong enough to push the steel vs. the aluminum that was on there. Thoughts????

Is it popping open when you are shooting? Are you following the latch closed, or letting it close under the pressure of the recoil spring.

It does not come undone after I have tapped it into place, and I don't follow the CH closed. I just let her go like I have always done.

No really I think it is CMT upper since it came from PK firearms.

When I bought a badger ord tac latch I remember the instructions saying you might have to file it down a bit for proper fit. Not sure if this applies in your situation or not.
