A friend of mine just hooked me up with a LMT buttstock but said it might not fit if my tube wasnt mil spec and sure enough my tube was larger. My question is, can I buy just a new mil spec tube to make it work? will my buffer tube and spring fit in the mil spec tube? my upper is from Model 1 sales (ER Shaw) wich I am very pleased with, I shoot tighter groups with it than I do with my issued M-4. any help would be great, Thanks

Yes, you can buy just the tube. Everything else can be swapped over.

hey great, thanks for the info. Does DPMS make theirs mil spec? any other brands that you know of that are mil spec?
