Hello all. I'm fairly new here and I just purchased a DPMS Lower complete with parts and a telestock. Now, I'm looking for a complete upper receiver. I've been on Bushmasters site and found a 16" M4A2 upper half for $590 but I'm looking for something a tad cheaper. Any recommendations?

Model 1 sales will run you a lot cheaper than that for a complete upper.

Google Bushmaster upper recievers or call some different gun dealers.  Every dealer sells bushmaster products cheeper than what is on bushmaster's web site.  Bushmaster probably does have the best AR15's on the market today.  Their moto says it all "The best...by a long shot.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Without paying "highend" prices, RRA is probably your best bet.  Affordable and pretty good quality.

Shop around a bit.  BM quality is good, so is RRA, CMMG, and many others.  If you want to spend much less than that, your going to get what you pay for.

Just another quick question. Will I be needing pins to install the upper half to the lower half?

Just shot it today. Ran 90 rounds of Wolf 223 steel FMJ through it without a hitch.

I will have to work on my sighting a bit. I started out at the 25 yard range then went to the 50 yard. I was way off on the 50.

Here's a 3-shot group at 100 yds. out of my 16" Bushy M4A3.  The target was all wadded up, so I held it against my shirt to smooth it out. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/remulac/Photo92.jpg
