[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Looking for Replacement Handguard

I'm looking at replacing the handguard w/ a 2 piece direct replacement cause I've decided that I don't want to go w/ a free float setup at this time. I was wondering who had any good/bad/indifferent experiances w/ any of the followingHillI don't really see much difference in these... just like to get opinions from the resident experts.

I wish LaRue offered a non-free floaterhinking.gif. I really like everything I've checked out from them.

Any advise/ideas/suggestions would be outstanding. Thanks!

That's what I went with. FF and you don't have to modify anything to get it to fit. Locks up nicely.

I have the Samson drop in rail. From what I understand it's pretty similar to the Troy.

I like it, it fits super tight with no play or wobble at all.

MI is real nice for the price. Only downfall for me is they are wide.

I've read good stuff about the KAC RAS. That's what I'm going to go with when i get the money.
