Hi, I guess we all try to decide this. I have a Vltor mil-spec telestock on one of my AR's and my Stag is mil-spec buffer-tube diameter & hi quality. Now I'm looking for a good quality but cheaper aftermarket M4 telestock (don't remember the buffer-tube diameters) for my other AR's. I'm looking for a good design that doesn't rattle or loose. Anyone found a few good quality "Industry-Standard" telestocks? |

What is CTR? I need 4 stocks. I just want some good M4 stocks without buying chinese crap. I ended up buying a supposedly DPMS one (but it doesn't say DPMS on it) from Coleman/Tyler for $50. It's loose & rattles alot. But its got all the reinforcements and the front of the buffer tube is reliefed & notched to fit the bufer retainer well, so I'll live with it. cheers |
I bought a CHEAP Telestock from Bravocompany It wasnt to Bad at all It was the Older model wich I like best try CAV |
I put a S&W MP15 stock on a commercial buffer tube, no rattles.![]() As most of you know it is a mil-spec stock and fits very tight on the commercial tube, it will take some time to fit it properly. Removing and refitting it several times. This particular stock fit the mil-spec tube on the rifle it came with pretty sloppy and I was about to throw it away when I decided on a whim to try it on the commercial tube. Now I need to get another lower to install it on. |
