I just installed a CTR on my RRA...the friction lever locks up nice but there is still movement in the stock both front to back and not so much side to side with very little preasure applied... it is more rigid then factory stock but with the movement is this normal or should this stock lock up real tight on the buffer tube?

Mine wiggles a tiny bit when locked, too. Considering the price range between this and the LMT or UBR stocks, I don't complain.

as you use it more, it will loosen up over time.
my vltor stock on a vltor tube was night and tight at first, but now it has a little shake

My CTR Commercial on my Bushmaster locks perfectly tight, zero movement.  Only movement is when its fully retracted but then its not locked in anywhoo.

I was told by MagPul that it should lock up tight, especially new.  It's not that I NEED it to lock tight, but I do think that it should work new, out of the box.

I had a problem with my mil spec version.  It would not hold tight in any position with an LMT or a Vltor tube.  Rattled around like the Vltor did, definately not tight, and would rattle when shaken, WITH the lock on.

Just email MagPul through the contact information on their web page, and they'll email you some information to send it back so that they can fix it for you.

Sent mine off today.  I'll post back when it comes home.
