So I am relatively new to the AR world and I want to get a nice colt to build purely because it is a "Colt" I know many think that you are only paying for the name but I think of it as a piece of history.

So that being said I have been looking at the 6920 and the 6920HB.

Is there any difference in the HB other than the barrel? Is it worth the etra $$?

The only difference is the barrel under the handguards.

The HB was introduced for full auto fire so unless you are going to be doing that the regular 6920 is better, and you will save the weight.
