I´m trying to collect information about markings in AR bolts. As far as I know Colt marks their bolts with MPC FN has MPF, Armalite AL8F, Bushmaster and Stag CM (=Continental Machine?), DPMS D. How about ALM, what manufacturer marks their bolts with this code? Any information welcome. MN |

Last time I looked, niether Bushmaster nor DPMS marked their BOLTS. Bushie did have a run of MP B marked bolts a few years ago, that were left overs from the one government contract they had 15 years ago, but unless they've reinstituted marking in the past couple of years, everything else has been unmarked. I know that DPMS marks their carriers with a D, but have never seen a marked DPMS bolt. |
I didn´t say Bushmaster marks them, I suppose they buy their bolts from Continental Machine & Tool. Correct me if I´m wrong. Those markings have been in their bolts for few years. First time I saw them -05 or -06. Same marks on Stag bolts. Stag bolts are available also with MP marking.   MN |
