Looking to buy a 14.5 car. barrel.  The barrel needs M4 feed ramps, it will be mated with a vltor MUR.  Which one will be better CMMG 250ish or LMT for 300ish.   Both are obviously chrome lined 1/7 twist with M4 feed ramps.  Primarily will be for CQB and shooting xm193 55gr.  and 62 gr. ammo.   Really don't have the money for a NOVESKE.  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Flip a coin really. Both are top notch. CMMG offers you a few more options, however, still what you've mentioned is available from them. I use CMMG for that reason & you get a high quality part for less money if that's all you'll be ordering.

I agree! CMMG is top notch and not unreasonable $$$ wise. While LMT is great I do tend to swing to the CMMG side.

CMMG has taper pins in the gas block and is parked under the FSB, if that matters to you..........

LMT although my own experience with LMT is my CQB MRP. The fit and finish of my MRP vs Bushmaster is night and day.

Get the LMT carbine and a CMMG middy for your next upper.  Best of both worlds.
