Does anyone make what amounts to a typical milspec grip but with a rubberized coating? I like the look of the standard grips, but it seems like all the ones I've seen look like they're made of cheap plastic.

I have a rubberized Ergo Suregrip grip on an LMT lower.  It feels really nice, I never had one before.  The ambi does not have as big of a thumb swell.  I think it would be the second one down on this list.

The Ergo Suregrip is probably the best standard sized pistol grip that has the rubber coating. If you have small to medium sized hands take a look at them. If you have medium large to very large hands look at the Hogue, as they are a bit larger.

Order all the grips that look good to you from Brownells. Try them all and return the rest. I ended up with the Hogue grip on all my AR15's. What works for me may not be the best for you.

There is ONLY ONE grip...MIAD.

BUT, based on what you're looking for, I say Hogue as well.

I just picked up a Hogue grip and like it allot. I'm going to use it on all my ARs, TD grips are my second favorite now.

Thanks guys. I actually was wondering if anyone made a grip (just a regular grip; not ergonomic, not adjustable) that was rubberized. It's not a big issue, really. I was just wondering if such a beast did exist.
