Can I get ambi safeties on the Colt LE6920 or LMT?
What rails can I get for either of them? My cousin has a friend who just came back from the sandbox and asked him if he had an AR. He told him no, but his cousin(me) is getting one so the fellow gave him a surefire light that he used on his duty weapon to give to me. I need to get an FAST so I can make this soldier proud and let him know that his light is being put to good use;-) Thanks everyone

You can buy ambi safeties from just about anywhere & install them yourself. There are all kinds of rail systems out there too.

Thanks for the reply warpig. What company(ies) make the best ambi selectors and what is your opinion on rails? Thanks again

Ambi safeties are all very similar.  Stag & LMT makes them.  The LMT tube is a little longer and work well on POF lowers.  Stags will work on all milspec lowers.

RRA makes a popular ambi safety. BCM also sells them (under lower parts section on their site), however, I could never find out if they're propriety or from a supplier. Depending on what you want to use the rifle for will help you determine what rails are best for you. I'm partial to the KAC RAS & Midwest Industries MI#17 for carbine length, two-piece rails. I haven't free floated any of my rifles & don't plan to, so I don't have an opinion on those types.
