Just wanted some recomendations for some sights. I am going to buy the Vltor VIS system and wanted some input as to what front and rear flip ups to buy. I like GG and G but I'm open to any. If you can post some pics of the ones you recommend. thanks

I've got a fairly decent guide to front and rear BUIS written up.  It doesn't include every BUIS out there, but it does include most of them.  Its a pretty picture intensive thread, so if you live on dial up  it make take a minute for everything to download.  If I can help with anything, or if you think the guides are missing something let me know.

I really like my PRI rear sites.  I 85% like my PRI front site.  It is a great site when flipped up or folded down, but the pin-style release is kind of irritating, and hurts my sensitive civilian thumb.  I wish PRI had used the same button as they did on the rear sight.

Let me ask you guys a question.  I like the skinny forearm's on my AR carbines vs. the M-4's.  I don't pick the oval fat ones, unless full auto is in the equation, purely subjectively.  I put a 16" carbine together using a La Rue 9.0 and, with ladders on all the rails, the forearm/package feels good to me.  Given that, how would you guys guess that the Vltor upper with ladder rail covers will feel to me?  MSTN is beckoning to me to do an upper.

'Bout the same.

Top is the VIS 2.  Bottom is a Stealth & Gooseneck.  Both feel more-or-less the same.

Wes is good people.

Hey, thanks a lot.  I'm really attracted VIS?  I've got an LMT BCG (and a lower, actually) kicking around, and a barrel in mind.  I think it's time to start .
