[ARCHIVED THREAD] - reverse rifling

I just bought my old man a TC pro hunter in .223....and noticed its rifled opposite my ar, and all my rem.'s

Anyone know if there is any diffrence?

Oh, that's bad. That's rifled for the Southern hemisphere. It'll be all over the paper up here in the North.

Carefull! Its a trap! It will turn the bullet the wrong way and it will shoot back at you!

Rifling can be lefthand or righthand twist, but it doesn't really matter for our purposes.
