I just bought an Essential Arms lower receiver this past week. The guy said it would be shipping Friday or Monday. The total with FFL transfer fee came to 116. Im going to go with a flat top upper and a 16 inch barrel. Im on a budget and I have priced things out to under six hundred. Im looking at 590-620 for the price range. I want to get the expercince of building and knowing I did it and also that I dont have to pay dealer price to have a good AR-15. Thanks everyone for your help.

Stuff needed question.

1-Peep Sites were to find them. (found one in A2 form for 24.99)

2-Carry handles (found one and A2 for 34.99)

3-Mags sites were to find them. (found Chiniese Military Mags 7.99ea)

4-Upper kits with full lower kits were to find good deals. (389-465 so far is the deals I have found)

5-Red dot sites.(This will be for a future buy unless I find a good deal)

Thanks everyone head of time for your help and replies.

If these are the "Asian military" ones from CDNN, you are ok, but for the most part folks will tell you to stick with USGI mags.  Bad mags are probably the #1 reason for problems with a rife running, and if you buy cheap "no name" mags you will end up frustrated, throwing them away and spending again to buy good ones.  Check out Bravo Company for USGIs- I think they are just under $110 for 10 mags.

Hey these are the ones from CDNN. Thanks for your help on that. I have asked a few people about them and only one person I know of has had an issue with them. I just picked up 19 green followers for 5 bucks. Im going to buy the Chiniese Military mags cant beat the price. This will be a gun that I will get to shoot maybe twice a year. I have to travel an hour an half away to shoot. I do hear we have an indoor outdoor range close to me but have not hear if its maned or not. I dont like if no one is there to supervise the place. I think that just leads to trouble. I think I will place an order for five of them. The price for five is like 39 plus shipping. I keep looking at selling off my WASR-10 AK to build the evil black rifle. I have been bitten by both bugs and they are fighting over me lol. Thanks everyone for your help.

Also thanks for the PM on the A1 upper. I have talked with him and will think about that.
