I have searched essentially all the industry partners I can think of but still can't locate a barrel to my specs: MATCH Grade 16 or 14.5" SS 1/8 or 1/7 Wylde or 556 chamber M4 feedramps (has to to match my billet upper) carbine gas system profile is not too big concern I know CMMG has a SS barrel that pretty much almost meets the above criterium, however, just because a barrel is SS DOES NOT mean it is match grade.... Though if those with the CMMG SS barrels can post some sub-MOA group sizes, then I guess I can go that route. Thanks |

This should fit the bill: www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=809 Or this: www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=600 Shilen blanks with the first one, looks top-notch. I own several WOA barrels like the second one, albeit 18-inchers, and they have all performed spectacularly. |
I can't...that logic is what has gotten me to this point. All I need is one non-m4 upper to mate with a bushie superlite barrel and I have a finished Superlite rig and then I need a m4 ramped barrel to go with my extra m4 upper and extra Samson forearm; hence my barrel search. This rig would be a Recce type and is essentially complete less the barrel. See my conundrum? |

I think what you are looking for is the Denny's Recon Barrel. Barrel Linky |
That is a midlength. |
Yeah, that is what I thought. Though, I think I will just go with the CMMG 16" med-con SS and then have it chopped to 14.5 and bead blasted. |
Why the hang-up on carbine gas ?? I don't understand. ![]() Are you under the mis-conception that it's better ?? |
Because he has a nice carbine-length rail system waiting for it. |
Reading never was my strong point. Especially with a head cold and treating it with brewskis. |
