I'm thinking of getting a super-light BBL, but I don't know who to go with; anyone's input would be appreciated. I'm thinking of a 16" 1/7, chrome lined BBL that's not stainless steel. It's not going to be used as a match BBL.

Look at CMMG that is what I'm looking at . Someone that has one speak up. How much weight is saved w/a light 16 or even 14.5?

Bushmaster 1 in 7 twist 16" super light wt Cr lined very nice barrels....Check out PK Firearms in the header

CMMG is now offering a 16" super light in mid length with M4 feed ramps the Bushmaster doesnt have these
and is not a mid length gas system

Another choice would be to get yourself a govt profile barrel and have Randall Rausch AR15 Barrels reprofile
it for you...(Bravo Company or Sabre Defense for example)

I just sighted in a build today with a CMMG 14.5 lightweight. It shot well, fed well, sights needed hardly any windage from dead center. M4 ramps lined up perfect with the DD upper I used. I'd buy another.
