[ARCHIVED THREAD] - What options for a DPMS lower

Ok firs let me say my knowledge here is basically zero. I have a DPMS AR15. Can I take he upper off and place a left handed upper from Stag on it. Can I put other uppers on it without problems. What choices does one have.

Yes you can put a stag lefty upper on it. You can swap out for most any upper you like, except .308 uppers and other uppers that are not designed to fit on any ar15 lower.

You also cannot use uppers that are not "mil-spec" such as those made by Professional Ordinance. (Not likely to find those, since they went bankrupt, and Bushmaster bought the company and improved the rifles.)
