[ARCHIVED THREAD] - First time buying a match trigger

PLanning on a new build (varmint ar15 rifle) and will need a match trigger. Is there a link where I can get more info about match triggers? I found these companies that make match triggers: JP enterprise/RRA/CMC/McCormick/LMT/Geissele
Are there any other makers? Which is best? need something 3-4 lbs pull.

Geissele and KAC make the best 2 stage triggers IMO. Both can be set to 3.5 pounds.

I'd say depends on money to a degree. RRA's 2 stage is hard to beat for the $$$

Let me tell you straight out, with no reservations or hesitations, the Geissele match rifle trigger is THE BEST.

It is the single biggest enhancement to accuracy you can make or buy for your AR.

It is SAH_WEET!!!!

It is fully adjustable and all adjustments are totally independant of one another (adjusting sear enagement does not affect pull weight, etc).

It comes with everything you to install and adjust it. It takes about 15 minutes to remove the old and install the new.

Go for it.
