i would have to assume freefloat because if they're 14.5" long there wouldn't really be anywhere to attach them in the front unless you had a gas block/front sight in an unconventional location.....
that HG would look wicked in a 14.5" barrel though.....
would cost a lot for rail covers though!

Oh right...sorry I thought 14.5" referred to barrel length!  I thought I was in luck.  I'm considering their carbine-length drop-ins.
