So Im trying to put together an SPR mk12 mod1 clone (close at least with a few revisions)

anyways the barrel I have been looking at is the White Oak Armory 18" spr contour barrel, it says it is stainless steel and 1/7 twist....my concern however is it doesnt list the Chamber as .223 or 5.56 but it does state it works with a varriety of issued and comercial ammo, which leads me to believe it is 5.56 and can withstand the pressures of Mil. ammo.
Also has anyone used this barrel and what is the general oppinion on it? any good? others out there to look at? this has been to only barrel I have found and am wondering if there are other barrel selections out there.  Thanks for any info provided.

I own this barrel.  It's the Wylde chamber.

I love it.  1/2 MOA easy with Black Hills 77 grain SMKs.

WOA goes through some pain-staking processes to ensure that every one of their barrels are top notch.  Buy with confidence

The WOA contoured Wilson Barrel with the Wylde chamber will reliably shoot any ammo you can get; semi auto or full auto.

I went with the WOA barrel for my Mod0, and I couldn't be happier. After about 4000 rounds give or take a few, it still holds MOA if I do my part.

Is their any practical differance between this SPR barrel, and the midlength gas SPR that WOA makes?
